Typical Candles
A candle is composed of two elements: wax and a wick. When a wick is lit, the heat from the flame melts the wax surrounding it, which it uses for fuel. Melted wax is moved up the wick and allows the candle to remain lit until either the fuel supply runs out or the heat is extinguished.
